Deputy minister could resign today
Tuesday 31st May 2011, 11:30AM BST.
DEPUTY Health and Social Services minister Andrew Le Lievre (pictured) told his minister last night that he wanted to resign from the department.
A final decision is expected today after a meeting of some board members when it is understood he wants more information released about the funding of extra care housing.
Last week, the States rejected his call for a delay on the redevelopment of Maison Maritaine and Longue Rue care homes to allow more work on how it would be paid for in the long run.
His delaying motion – a sursis – was supported by three other board members, but came after they had all agreed to support the Housing-led redevelopment plans.

If he was Blatter he’d be hanging on by his fingernails, chanting the mantra ‘crisis, what crisis?’
The other huge difference is that nobody really cares whether Dep. Le Lievre resigns or stays put whereas true football fans everywhere are hoping and praying for an early end to the corrupt and utterly discredited Blatter regime at FIFA.

Fine – I have some free time tomorrow, from 2.30- 2.45. As his employer, will happily help him clear his desk.

No!
He’s not in disguise.
In fact he shows a typical States member, when he can’t get his own way.
And they say babies screech and shout, my oh my.
