THE Pink Ladies were out and about at the weekend to encourage more women to sign up for the Sunset Coastal Walk.
The fund-raising event takes place on 18 June and there is still time to enter because the 31 May deadline has been extended, although organisers would appreciate receiving forms as soon as possible.
The event was started in 2007 and this year’s walk is particularly significant as the support group – which offers help and raises awareness about breast cancer – celebrates its 10th anniversary.
On Saturday members were at Le Friquet Garden Centre and St Peter’s Food Hall giving out registration forms and taking entries.

Well done to all you ladies for giving your time on this event
I would love to join in but am unable to walk that far .shame I could not join in from a closer point.
even at .Bulwer Avenue or Red Lion point would be fine .Perhaps this could be looked into for next year.
I give my thanks to each of you for raising so much money and awareness of this
