RESEARCH specialist Island Analysis is making an impression on the global stage following appearances at two international conferences.

Analyst Michaela de Vial spoke in Alicante at the Wessex Institute of Technology’s third international conference on energy and sustainability, while colleague Andrew Birnie’s presentation at the second Island Dynamic Conference in Malta concentrated on economic diversification and the value to islands of benchmarking.

Both conferences were attended by representatives from a variety of sectors including commercial organisations, academics, island governments and non-government organisations.

Island Analysis chief executive Chris Brock (pictured) said the attendee lists at each event were exceptional.
