Vale fire – three teens arrested
Monday 13th June 2011, 2:29PM BST.
THREE teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of arson after a small gorse fire in the Vale Church area.
Firefighters were called at 3.56pm on Saturday but the fire was already out when they got there.
Watch commander Steve Wilkes said that the area alight was less than a square metre and the crew were back at the station by 4.24pm.
‘It was still dangerous and could still have spread,’ he said. ‘There were some kids down there that were seen to light a fire.’

Why am I so bitter? Well I might have been doing a bit of courting, and that was hot enough without adding coal to the fire….
