RANGERS B’s pursuit of retaining their Co-ed Division Two title stayed on course with the narrowest of victories over Buccaneers.

Their 11-10 win may have been a little close for comfort, but the black-and-reds still got the job done and are now in total control of the title race after nearest rivals Jets forfeited their clash against Sluggers.

Rangers now have a six-point cushion at the top, albeit having played a game more, although there was yet more drama lower down the table as Buccaneers again fell agonisingly short.

This time they lost out to Cubs in a high-scoring thriller, 26-23, meaning the two sides are now level on points.
