Herm offers mullet aplenty

THE West Coast Sea Angling Club has just fished the second leg of its 2011 Herm Championship competition.

Those members who crossed the water must have been delighted to see that there were plenty of mullet on offer – resulting in most members opting to fish for them.

Tim Froome was the winner on the day, returning with three grey mullet weighing 7lb 3oz, scoring him 88.75 points and putting him at the top of the table after two legs.

Andy Fallaize came in second with two grey mullet weighing 6lb 6oz, scoring him 65.50 points, followed by Louise Richards in third place with two grey mullet for 6lb 2oz, giving her 64.50 points.
