Bodman doubles up

A DOUBLE success has kept Erica Bodman on course for this autumn’s European Rowing Championships.

The 23-year-old Sarnian (pictured) is hoping to earn a place in Team GB for September’s event in Plovdiv and did her prospects no harm at all as she helped her eight to two victories in the Metropolitan Regatta on Dorney Lake.

It marked the start of a hectic period for the Guernsey woman as she is now in action for three weekends running, starting with the Henley Women’s Regatta this weekend.

She is pleased with the way she is progressing, especially after an injury-plagued season so far.
