Dinghy thieves leave Roland, 75, marooned
Thursday 16th June 2011, 2:29PM BST.
THIEVES who stole a dinghy have left a pensioner with no way of getting to his boat.
Roland Le Prevost (pictured) rowed out in the dinghy on a Saturday in mid-May and sailed to Herm in his boat.
He left the punt on top of Le Crocq at the Bridge but when he returned at 10am last Sunday, it had gone.
Mr Le Prevost, 75, notified the police. Sergeant Andy Jones said officers were investigating the case, had contacted boat exchanges and checked all car parks and parking places around the island as well as various marine areas.

How despicable to rob Mr Lr Prevost of his punt. I do hope he has friends who will be helping him to get out to his boat and enjoy his boating.

I bet PB Falla had something to do with this. All the evidence points towards members of his mass exodus!

How did he get back to shore from his boat? Or is he still on it??!!

I take it, if I understand the article correctly, Mr Le Prevost was in Herm for a whole month(???)
