A GUERNSEY rugby star found guilty of assaulting two Jersey players after last year’s Siam Cup escaped a prison sentence yesterday.
James Regnard, described in numerous references to the court as a loyal, hardworking, family-orientated man, will instead serve 120 hours of community service.

‘I think he has been let off very lightly.’
