ZAK DAMARELL produced a man-of-the-match display to book BDO’s place in next Saturday’s grand final at KGV.
But who will join Stuart Le Prevost’s side is still up for grabs and Cenkos Centurions and Mourant Ozannes will play a re-arranged shootout on Friday evening with the winner going forward to the final.
Damarell’s 59-ball 52 put the final nail in the Wave Telecom Warriors’ coffin, and will have not only pleased his skipper and team-mates, but also his watching dad, the BDO franchise boss, former island star Ian.
Chasing 113 to win by the Duckworth-Lewis method in the day’s third straight rain-affected game, BDO eased home by nine wickets with Le Prevost keeping Damarell company in the closing overs.
