A BEAUTIFUL two-acre Town garden was opened up to islanders on Sunday to raise money for Les Bourgs Hospice.

Hundreds of people took the opportunity to have a look at the grounds of Grange Court and enjoy some tea and cake.

‘The flowers are beautiful,’ said Sylvie Stephenson, 13.

‘I did not realise it [the garden] was here, it is so big.’

Her friend, Elise Bott, said: ‘I liked the cacti best, they were fascinating.’
