Off-market St Pierre is still for sale

OFFERS for St Pierre Park Hotel would be considered despite the property not officially being on the market, Sandpiper chief executive Tony O’Neill has confirmed.
The hotel underwent a massive renovation project towards the end of 2009 after it was taken off the market at the beginning of that year following its failure to sell.
The refurbishment of all 131 bedrooms, function rooms and bar areas saw the hotel regain its four-star status, but it has not returned to the market since.
However, Mr O’Neill said that did not mean Sandpiper, a private equity group whose main focus is on retail, was looking to hold on to St Pierre Park Hotel for the long term.
