‘PC Sexy’ faces sack for kissing on the job

A POLICE officer’s career is in jeopardy after it emerged he sent lewd text messages to a young single mother while he was on duty.
Although cleared of indecent assault in a Magistrate’s Court trial, PC Richard Vahey (pictured) admitted during proceedings to sending sexual messages to the 20-year-old woman via text and Facebook and touching her breast on one occasion during a visit to her home.
The officer is currently suspended and DCI Peter Dowding said yesterday that disciplinary action was now being considered.
‘We are currently taking advice on the matter and, after giving this due consideration, we will consider the next course of action,’ he said.
