AN EVENT to showcase services for young people and children was deemed a success by organisers and those attending.

More than 30 agencies, charities and volunteer groups showed the work they do and also networked with other services.

Organisations attending included Action for Children, Maison St Pierre, Drug Concern, and the Guernsey Probation Service.

‘The idea was for everybody to see what was available,’ said Child Youth and Community Tribunal president Roger Allsopp, ‘but also to share information between the agencies. Everybody is working towards improving the lives of young people in Guernsey. We are all working towards the same cause.’
