House fire: ‘mother could have died’
Monday 27th June 2011, 1:00PM BST.

Andy Reid, who dashed to help when he heard an alarm, says that the fire had quickly cut off the stairs.
A SLEEPING young mother could have been killed after her house was set on fire, a horrified neighbour has said.
Emergency services were called to Millbrook Estate at around 2am on Saturday after a blaze started at the front door of the house.
Landscaper Andy Reid, 25, said he had been on a night out with friends and was at a friend’s house when they heard a fire alarm. He said after seeing the flames he rushed into the house to help as he was aware the woman had two young children.
‘The woman was already outside. I asked her where her kids were and she said they had been staying with someone else,’ he said.
Police said a 23-year-old male had been charged with arson under the criminal damage law.
