Jason’s start-up makes dad’s dream come true

NEW Phase Construction is building its business up on firm family foundations.
Established by bricklayer Jason Winch at the start of last year, the business now boasts his father Dave as co-owner and brother Luke as an employee.
All three work on the firm’s building sites with one another and, according to Dave, the experience has brought them closer together.
‘We rely on each other and because we’re family we know we can trust each other,’ he said.
The firm specialises in house builds, extensions and renovations, as well as specialist brickwork. It is also looking to carry out some projects in France in the near future.
