Islanders are being offered the chance to forge a career in shaping people’s style and image when Stick & Ribbon comes to the island next month.

Fashion stylists Pippa Rees and Sally Longden will host a free seminar on Wednesday, 6 July to explain in detail the franchise opportunities available in their personal shopping and private styling consultancy.

Stick & Ribbon has a unique proposition as it is the UK’s only image business that offers its clients personal style advice and private shopping at the same time.

Having successfully operated as a stand alone business in the Midlands, the company is now expanding through a network of franchisees, so that all women in the UK can have local access to styling advice. Pippa and Sally will also be discussing the opportunities that exist in Jersey at a second seminar in the Channel Islands on Thursday, 7 July.

Pippa Rees, co-founder of Stick & Ribbon, said: “We have been to Guernsey and Jersey before to demonstrate our services and were warmly received.

“It is exciting to be coming back to launch the franchise opportunities that Stick & Ribbon has to offer.

“In previous visits we have worked with both individual and corporate clients advising them on personal branding and image management and we have always had an exceptional response.”

A franchisee will get to develop their own business, with the full support of the franchise head office, through the sale of private styling consultations, the sale of private clothing collections and the opportunity to provide personal branding and image management consultations at a corporate level.

“This is an exciting and unique opportunity for someone from Guernsey to become part of a growing national network of professionally trained franchise consultants. We believe that personal image and style advice should be available to everyone who wants it and we are looking forward to meeting with potential new business partners at the seminar,” said Pippa.

The free seminar is taking place at the Venue, Fermain Valley Hotel on Wednesday 6 July, 2011 between 6.00-8.00pm. If you want to attend please register by contacting: invites@orchardpr.com
