Flying Farmers see the Guernsey way

FLYING farmers from all over the UK have been visiting Guernsey to see how Sarnians grow their food.
About 40 producers, all of whom have an interest in aviation, have spent three days in the island. They have visited the dairy cows of Meadow Court Farm, the orchards of the Rocquette Cider Company and the nurseries of Guernsey Sea Farms.
Flying Farmers Association chairman Martin Gosling, 66, said they had several Guernsey members and that was one factor that had attracted the club to the island for the first time in 12 years.
‘The reaction [to the trip] has been really positive,’ he said.
