Adrian and Tash Tostevin and new baby Indy Zacchaeus
UNUSUAL baby names are becoming increasingly common, but the sudden birth of Indy Zacchaeus Tostevin also sparked a mad dash for his father to get back to Guernsey.
Mum Tash Tostevin was still two-and-a-half-weeks from her due date, so the couple had no qualms about husband Ade taking his daughter and niece to see Take That at Wembley.
‘It didn’t even cross my mind,’ said Mr Tostevin. ‘There were no signs and everything seemed fine. As it was only one night away from home, we weren’t worried.’
Family friend Alan Jackson stayed over with Tash to make sure she was OK, but at 10pm – just as Take That were getting to their finale – Mrs Tostevin’s waters broke.
