Legends on our doorstep

SOME of the world’s greatest tennis legends will visit Guernsey in September to take part in an exhibition day to be held at the Guernsey Tennis Centre in Longcamps.

Players including two-time Wimbledon champion Peter McNamara and the inimitable trick shot genius Mansour Bahrami have already confirmed their participation, and they will be joined by two other legends still to be announced.

Players being considered for the event that will be sure to entertain fans both young and old include Pat Cash, Henri Leconte, Cedric Pioline, Guy Forget, Andrew Castle, Peter Fleming and Jeremy Bates.

‘I am really looking forward to visiting Guernsey again,’ said McNamara.
