Restaurateur banned from local boards until 2018

DEBT-RIDDEN businessman Howard Holland was barred from being a director of any Guernsey company for seven years yesterday.
The Ordinary Division of the Royal Court granted the Commerce and Employment minister’s application in default of appearance.
In June 2007, the restaurateur, who is now living in Spain, was banned for seven years from holding any directorship in the UK by a Northern Ireland court.
The Commerce and Employment application was originally due to be contested and the matter was adjourned last month to give HM Greffier time to contact Mr Holland (pictured).
