Cordier Hill neighbours fear chaos if site is developed

Tony Baker NIGHTMARE parking, narrow lanes and overcrowding are some of the concerns voiced by residents over plans to redevelop the majority of the Cordier Hill convent site.

The Sisters of Mercy have applied to have 10 two-bedroom houses and three two-bedroom apartments alongside the convent.

The only access is onto Cordier Hill and the extra cars would lead to more traffic using Vauvert, residents have warned.

Tony Baker, 65 (pictured), has lived in Vauvert for more than 30 years. From his third floor flat he can clearly see into the site. He was concerned about being overlooked by the proposed houses.
