‘Bullying boss made me quit’
Friday 15th July 2011, 2:29PM BST.
A FORMER Cable & Wireless employee was forced to resign after being told she would have to work under a line manager who bullied and victimised her, an industrial tribunal heard yesterday.
C&W, where Rosemary Ellis (pictured) was a commercial finance analyst from May 2008 to June 2010, disputes her claim.
She alleges she was constructively dismissed after a departmental restructure meant she was asked to return to reporting to Gareth Fooks.
Mr Fooks, she said, had previously bullied her.
Solicitor Rachel Richardson, for Cable & Wireless, said no breach of contract had caused Miss Ellis to resign.
