Kylie gets it right
Monday 18th July 2011, 2:29PM BST.
THERE were no mistakes from Kylie Robilliard as she smashed her own island 100m hurdles record in Bedford yesterday.
After her hurdle wobbles at the Island Games she sailed over the barriers on her way to a new personal best of 13.49sec. (wind-assisted) for fourth place in the final of the England Championships.
Tom Druce went two places better and finished runner-up to GB international Rob Tobin in the 400m with a time of 47.47sec., just under a second behind the winner.

As an ex Guernsey local living in Bedford for the last ten years I was there to see Tom get his silver. Unfortunately in the rush to leave work and get to the stadium I forgot my Guernsey flag. I was there supporting though. Working Sunday so couldn’t see that one.

Thanks very much for the support John, it was great to win my first senior national medal. I really wish Bedford could sort the weather out though?!
