Former colleagues dispute claims by ‘social animal’

ROSEMARY ELLIS was a ‘social animal’ and it was more likely that she was bullying her line manager, a former Cable and Wireless employee has said.
In an employment tribunal, Jan Nobes, who was resource and development director at the company last year, said she did not believe Miss Ellis was bullied by team manager Gareth Fooks.
She said Mr Fooks was new to managing staff and, if anything, he felt intimidated by Miss Ellis.
Miss Ellis (pictured) claims she was constructively dismissed after being told she had no choice but to work under Mr Fooks again.
