Le Grand Bouet rebuild could start in March
Monday 25th July 2011, 1:00PM BST.

The Guernsey Housing Association has applied to the Environment Department to build 80 properties at the Route de la Nouvelle, Le Grande Bouet.
THE last house remaining at the Bouet building site will be demolished at the beginning of next month – and work to start rebuilding could start as soon as March.
It had been anticipated that the last property would come down on Thursday but following the discovery that swifts were nesting in the building the date was pushed back.
It is believed that the birds will soon be ready to leave their nests and therefore the Guernsey Housing Association has earmarked Tuesday 9 August for the final demolition.
The association has applied to the Environment Department to build 80 properties at the Route de la Nouvelle, Le Grande Bouet, site and it hopes that work can start early next year.
The latest planning application represents part two of the redevelopment phase. If approved, 60 two- and three-bedroom houses and 20 one-bedroom flats will be built.
