Monday 25th July 2011, 2:29PM BST.

Rory McLaren, 7, shows his support for Guernsey FC at Saturday evening’s match against Bristol City’s under-19 academy team.
ENTHUSIASM for the island’s new football team is still strong – with more than 1,000 people turning out for Guernsey FC’s second match on Saturday evening.
And the crowd were rewarded with a 6-0 demolition of Bristol City’s under-19 academy side in a friendly at Foote’s Lane. In total, 1,072 people attended the match, beating the figure for the previous match by 18.
Finance worker Alasdair McLaren, 45, went to the game with his son Rory, 7, and said he would consider buying a season ticket. He said it was good to see children from the youth teams attending the match.
‘Where else are they going to watch something like this? Every match is an international.’
