Cobo car park could be revamped by next spring.

PLANS to revamp Cobo car park should be completed by next spring now planning permission has been granted, Castel Douzaine has said.

Dean Nick Dorey said the next step for the parish would be to tender for the re-tarmacing and re-marking of the site. The work would also include making a new entrance and exit to the car park.

‘We aren’t exactly sure how much that is going to cost but we are having a parish meeting in November,’ he said.

He added businesses surrounding the car park would be approached to finance the project.

The douzaine and the Environment Department have remained tight-lipped about who they had received legal advice from after it was claimed the decision had breached planning laws.
