BDO in Guernsey has teamed up with its sister firm in London to provide a new, locally-based solution to deal with contentious business insolvencies.

The firm already offers non-contentious insolvency work but its decision to expand into the more complex area of contentious insolvencies will provide Guernsey with a new option for dealing with the fallout that arises from failed companies.

The service has been put in place with expert assistance from some of the UK’s leading insolvency professionals at BDO in London and is being led by BDO senior manager Nathan Hodder.

He described the move into the contentious insolvency arena as a natural progression.
