GUERNSEY FC have ended their first week of competitive football in second place in the Combined Counties League Division One after a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Warlingham at Footes Lane.
Another lively and vibrant Green Lions performance saw Angus Mackay open the first-half scoring, before a brace from the excellent Glyn Dyer after the break sealed the win.
GFC also hit the woodwork and forced several fine stops out of Warlingham keeper Danny Coote and although the visitors looked threatening going forward, the result was never really in doubt.
It means GFC have picked up seven points from three games and coach Tony Vance was delighted with another fine home display, which is the second in succession and they have seen eight goals scored without reply.
