ONE marathon was enough for three-time world touring car champion Andy Priaulx – but 65-year-old Stuart Hardie plans to run 40 in 40 days.
The surveyor will attempt to cover 1,048 miles from John O’Groats to Land’s End.
He aims to raise £1m. for Wooden Spoon, Hope, the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation and Young People Guernsey.
‘It’s an amazing challenge for him,’ Mr Priaulx said. ‘In a lot of ways he is an inspirational character – I know how hard it is to run one marathon. It’s going to be a long, hard slog.’
