Former City mayor to be key speaker

ALDERMAN Sir John Stuttard has been confirmed as keynote speaker for next month’s Channel Islands Stock Exchange International Business Summit.

Students from two Guernsey schools will also have the chance to attend the event.

Sir John (pictured), the former Lord Mayor of the City of London, spent his career with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, where he was a partner for 30 years. He is now deputy chairman of the firm’s advisory board.

The summit, which takes place at Mansion House, the Lord Mayor’s residence in London, on 29 September, will bring together professionals from the Channel Islands, London and further afield to hear expert speakers debate topical issues and major developments in the financial markets.
