Large amount of man-made cannabis intercepted
Wednesday 17th August 2011, 2:29PM BST.
SEVENTEEN hundred grams of synthetic cannabis has been seized by the Guernsey Border Agency.
It was found in a vehicle trying to gain entry to the island.
Another seizure of 100g of very pure synthetic cannabis – formerly known as Spice – was made when someone attempted to post the drug into the jurisdiction.
Guernsey Border Agency chief officer Rob Prow (pictured) said the substance was in powder form and had yet to be mixed with herbal material.
