St Martin’s 6, North 4
IT’S not the biggest strikeforce you would hope for in a two-man attack, but St Martin’s are certainly not complaining.

Marc McGrath and Luke Winch cracked five between them at Blanche Pierre Lane last night to land the Priaulx League and CI champions the first piece of silverware on offer this season, and you would have to go further up the national ladder than the Combined Counties League Division One the Green Lions find themselves in, to unearth better finishing.

Well, perhaps aside of GFC’s own first-choice strikeforce that is.

All six Saints strikes were classic finishes and with North knocking in a few handy ones of their own, it is clear that Tony Vance has plenty of choices when it comes to attack.
