Wind shifts catch Briggs out on the line

JAMES BRIGGS has got some valuable competition under his belt ahead of the World Championships.
The Sarnian windsurfer has just finished 35th out of 81 competitors from 11 countries in the Latvian Baltic Cup.
The event was tough with shifty, light conditions in which four races were completed.
‘On the first day I lost around 15 places on the finish line in both races as I was on the wrong side of wind shifts,’ Briggs said.
