Doney pays island a visit

A SPECIAL guest will be among the many visitors who will grace Chemin Le Roi this week.

BS Guernsey’s main event of the season, the Horse of the Year Show, always attracts a lot of competitors from both Jersey and the UK and 2011 is no exception.

This year, though, they will be competing in front of one of the top officials in the sport globally, Jon Doney.

‘Jon is a very highly respected and experienced international showjumping judge and former international course designer,’ said BS Guernsey press officer Gillian Gorvel.
