SPEEDING traffic is making Baubigny and Les Gigands Road dangerous, residents have warned.

They say that a diversion, which was put in place three weeks ago for the 10-week closure of Route Militaire, has led to more motorists breaking the 20mph limit putting children, animals and even adult pedestrians in danger.

Bridget Domaille, 59, who lives in Les Gigands Road, said her daughter’s dogs were almost run over by a speeding car.

She said speeding in the area was a problem but it had got worse since the diversion.
