Suspicious death of Liga still remains a mystery

Liga Verse was seen in her favourite restaurant on Thursday night but the following day her mobile was going unanswered. Her body was found on Saturday evening.
FRESH details of Liga Verse’s final days emerged yesterday.
As police confirmed that a second post-mortem examination would be needed to determine the cause of her death, people who knew the Latvian national described their shock while providing information about her last known movements.
A 27-year-old local man remains in custody after the court gave permission for the police to keep him detained.
Smugglers owner Elvio Pires yesterday confirmed that the mother-of-one had been dining at his restaurant on Thursday night.
Her landlord, Vlade Zekavica, tried to telephone her on Friday but she did not answer.
