BAILIWICK GCSE students have achieved a 75% pass rate at C grade and above – more than 5% higher than their national counterparts.

The pass rate is the same as last year. The results represent more than 5,600 exam entries from eight schools, although some results have yet to be received.

A total of 62.7% of Bailiwick students attained five or more GCSEs at AA to C. Last year, the percentage given on results day for the pass rate of five or more GCSEs at AA to C was 60.7%. But when all results were received, the figure increased to 68.1%.

The Bailiwick’s highest performer was 16-year-old Elizabeth College student Oliver Yerby, who achieved 15 AAs.
