Killer’s bid to cut jail time nearly backfires
Tuesday 13th September 2011, 2:29PM BST.
KILLER Joanne Baker has lost an appeal against a 15-month prison sentence for kneeing and kicking a woman in the face.

Her co-appellant, Danika Machon, also lost her appeal against a nine-month sentence for two assaults.

Wasp, you might be mistaken by the misleading headline. Miss Baker is not serving a prison sentence for Murder, that was a previous conviction for which she served some (too little if you ask me!) in prison for. This sentence is re a joint assault.

Wasp – the article isn’t that clear online but to clarify, this offence did not result in a death.
That was a previous offence for which if I recall she served considerably longer than 15 months.

My mistake, thank you all for the clarification. However this person is obviously an extremely aggressive individual.
