Multiple champion here to save riders seconds
Saturday 17th September 2011, 2:29PM BST.
A FORMER British motocross champion is in the island this weekend to help improve riders from the Guernsey Kart and Motorcycle Club.
Chris Nunn (pictured), a winner of nine titles in all, arrived in the island yesterday and tested out the club’s re-designed track at Pleinmont.
He will spend the weekend training both adults and youths from the club.
‘It is a good track with varied elevation and with a good mix of bends that you can go into wide or tight,’ Nunn said. ‘Once a few more riders have been on it and there are more lines, it will be great.’
