GUERNSEY FC have regained a three-point cushion at the top of the Combined Counties League Division One table after a 5-0 thumping of Westfield in their top-of-the-table clash last night.
The UK side sat in third place beforehand, but a below-par Green Lions team still proved far too strong for them.
Matt Loaring gave GFC a two-goal half-time cushion with a deserved brace in a magnificent individual performance, before a quick double-strike from Ryan-Zico Black and Dom Heaume after the interval clinched the points.
The evening was rounded off with Ross Allen’s 17th goal of the season in 10 matches, although Lions coach Tony Vance (pictured) was far from delighted about his team’s showing.
