Lt-Governor takes to the sea with Ambulance and Rescue

LT-GOVERNOR Air Marshal Peter Walker had the chance to witness a rescue from on board the marine ambulance yesterday.
Air Marshal Walker and his wife Lynda visited the St John Ambulance and Rescue Service’s headquarters in the morning before heading out on the Flying Christine III.
The couple were given a tour of the service’s facilities by chief ambulance officer Jon Beausire.
They were told about its activities as part of the Bailiwick’s search and rescue provision and were given a tour of the marine ambulance.
