Marathon man Stuart – one down with 39 still to go

RUNNER Stuart Hardie has completed his first marathon and has another 39 to go.
The 65-year-old (pictured) began his 40 marathons in 40 days challenge yesterday and completed the first from John O’Groats to Thurso within six hours.
Tomorrow, he will take on his second marathon from Thurso to Bettyhill in Sutherland.
He said yesterday’s run was a lot tougher than he had expected.
