GUERNSEY FC has captured the imagination of those well beyond the boundaries of our island.

Former Guernsey residents who now live in the UK have flocked in numbers to catch the Green Lions’ away matches.

And some who have never lived here, but just hold an affection for the island, are making the effort to catch a glimpse of Tony Vance’s team.

Robert Johnson, 53, is from Sunbury-on-Thames, but his dad is from Guernsey.
