Most of £2,358 donation for Liga from church service

DONATIONS totalling £2,358 will help the family of Liga Verse, whose death in Town is being investigated by police.
So far £1,957.15 has been spent on flights and accommodation expenses for Liga’s family and to return some personal effects to Latvia.
Miss Verse was found dead in a Bordage flat on Saturday 20 August.
The main contribution has been from a Town Church collection at £1,021.05 and there have been a variety of business, individual and anonymous donations ranging from £5 to £300.
A further £450 has also been committed, but not yet received.
