JUDGES for this year’s Celebration of Young People Awards have been announced.
The 1 November event will recognise the positive achievements and contributions of people aged between 11 and 25.
Individuals and groups can be nominated for the Bobby Le Vasseur Memorial Award for dedicated service, the Triumph Over Adversity Award and the Jan Renouf Memorial Award for outstanding contribution to the community.
It is the first year that Guernsey Electricity managing director Alan Bates will be involved in selecting the winners.
‘I am really looking forward to being part of this event – it is such a humbling experience to see so many people in Guernsey who overcome problems and challenges in their lives and I think it is just wonderful to be able to recognise that.’
