GUERNSEY FC will look to open up a six-point lead at the top of the table tomorrow afternoon as they entertain lowly Sheerwater at Footes Lane in the Combined Counties League Division One.

It also represents another homecoming for the table-topping Green Lions against the 14th-placed team, with the Sarnians having won three away matches and scored 10 goals without reply since their last home encounter.

With second-placed Bedfont Sports in FA Vase action tomorrow, GFC could open up a sizeable gap, albeit that Bedfont will have two games in hand.

And Lions coach Tony Vance is hopeful of putting on another show for the home fans, with 13 goals being scored in three games on the island, in front of an average attendance of 1,507.
