THE England No. 25 men’s player proved too strong for both Garry Dodd and Alice Loveridge, but it was nevertheless a fruitful first weekend for the Sportingbet Guernsey men’s table tennis sides in the British League.

By the end of play the Guernsey firsts sit third in the strong and toughly contested Division 1 South-West North section, and the Seconds are also third in Division 4 South-East Midlands.

The first team began with an encounter against the strong-looking Fusion II outfit, who were to win 5-3.
