Driver suffers seizure and crashes into parked cars

Three vehicles were damaged when a Ford Mondeo driven by a man who was suffering from a medical condition crashed into them on the Bridge yesterday morning. (1182722)
A 53-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital yesterday morning after he suffered a seizure and crashed his car into two parked vehicles at the Bridge.
No one else was injured in the accident, which happened shortly after 11am.
PC Garry Moore said the man, who was driving a Ford Mondeo, had turned into the Bridge to park because he was aware he was suffering from a medical condition.
‘He had a medical seizure and came on the Bridge to park and, as he did, so he hit a van and an English-registered vehicle,’ he said.
